Human AFG2A qPCR Primer Set – AAA ATPase AFG2A
Also known as: AFG2, EHLMRS, NEDHSB, SPAF, SPATA5
About this gene: AFG2A belongs to the ATPase linked to diverse activities family, whose members are defined by a highly conserved ATPase domain. Members of this family participate in diverse cellular processes that include membrane fusion, DNA replication, microtubule severing, and protein degradation. The AFG2A protein has a putative mitochondrial targeting sequence and has been proposed to function in maintenance of mitochondrial function and integrity during mouse spermatogenesis.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 166378; HGNC ID: HGNC:18119; UniProt: Q8NB90; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_145207.3; Chromosome location: 4q28.1
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
