SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human SPA17 (sperm autoantigenic protein 17, also called CT22) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human SPA17 qPCR Primer Set – sperm autoantigenic protein 17
Also known as: CT22, SP17, SP17-1
About this gene: SPA17 encodes a protein present at the cell surface. The N-terminus has sequence similarity to human cAMP-dependent protein kinase A type II alpha regulatory subunit while the C-terminus has an IQ calmodulin-binding motif. The central portion of the protein has carbohydrate binding motifs and likely functions in cell-cell adhesion.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 53340; HGNC ID: HGNC:11210; UniProt: Q15506; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_017425.4; Chromosome location: 11q24.2
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
