SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human SP4 (Sp4 transcription factor) gene expression by real-time PCR.
Human SP4 qPCR Primer Set – Sp4 transcription factor
Also known as: HF1B, SPR-1
About this gene: The SP4 protein is a transcription factor that can bind to the GC promoter region of a variety of genes, including those of the photoreceptor signal transduction system. The SP4 protein binds to the same sites in promoter CpG islands as does the transcription factor SP1, although its expression is much more restricted compared to that of SP1. SP4 may be involved in bipolar disorder and schizophrenia.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 6671; HGNC ID: HGNC:11209; UniProt: Q02446; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_003112.5; Chromosome location: 7p15.3
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
