SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human BPNT1 (3'(2'), 5'-bisphosphate nucleotidase 1, also called HsPIP) gene expression by real-time PCR.
Human BPNT1 qPCR Primer Set – 3'(2'), 5'-bisphosphate nucleotidase 1
Also known as: HEL20, HsPIP, PIP
About this gene: BPNT1, also called bisphosphate 3-prime-nucleotidase, or BPntase, belongs to a magnesium-dependent phosphomonoesterase family. Lithium, a major drug used to treat manic depression, acts as an uncompetitive inhibitor of BPntase. The predicted human protein is 92% identical to mouse BPntase.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 10380; HGNC ID: HGNC:1096; UniProt: O95861; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_006085.6; Chromosome location: 1q41
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
