SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human SOX9 (SRY-box transcription factor 9) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human SOX9 qPCR Primer Set – SRY-box transcription factor 9
Also known as: CMD1, CMPD1, ENH13, SRA1, SRXX2, SRXY10, TESCO
About this gene: The SOX9 protein recognizes the sequence CCTTGAG along with other members of the HMG-box class DNA-binding proteins. The SOX9 gene product acts during chondrocyte differentiation and, with steroidogenic factor 1, regulates transcription of the anti-Muellerian hormone gene. Deficiencies lead to the skeletal malformation syndrome campomelic dysplasia, frequently with sex reversal.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 6662; HGNC ID: HGNC:11204; UniProt: P48436; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_000346.4; Chromosome location: 17q24.3
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
