Human SOX4 qPCR Primer Set – SRY-box transcription factor 4
Also known as: CSS10, EVI16, IDDSDF
About this gene: This intronless gene belongs to the SOX family of transcription factors involved in the regulation of embryonic development and in the determination of the cell fate. The SOX4 protein may act as a transcriptional regulator after forming a protein complex with other proteins, such as syndecan binding protein. The protein may function in the apoptosis pathway leading to cell death as well as to tumorigenesis and may mediate downstream effects of parathyroid hormone and PTH-related protein in bone development.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 6659; HGNC ID: HGNC:11200; UniProt: Q06945; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_003107.3; Chromosome location: 6p22.3
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
