SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human SOX14 (SRY-box transcription factor 14) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human SOX14 qPCR Primer Set – SRY-box transcription factor 14
Also known as: SOX28
About this gene: This intronless gene belongs to the SOX family of transcription factors involved in the regulation of embryonic development and in the determination of the cell fate. The SOX14 protein may act as a transcriptional regulator after forming a protein complex with other proteins. Mutations in SOX14 are suggested to be responsible for the limb defects linked to blepharophimosis, ptosis, epicanthus inversus syndrome and Mobius syndrome.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 8403; HGNC ID: HGNC:11193; UniProt: O95416; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_004189.4; Chromosome location: 3q22.3
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
