Human SOX12 qPCR Primer Set – SRY-box transcription factor 12
Also known as: SOX22
About this gene: Members of the SOX family of transcription factors are characterized by the presence of a DNA-binding high mobility group domain, homologous to the HMG box of sex-determining region Y. Forming a subgroup of the HMG domain superfamily. SOX transcription factors have diverse tissue-specific expression patterns during early development and have been proposed to act as target-specific transcription factors and/or as chromatin structure regulatory elements. The SOX12 protein was identified as a SOX family member based on conserved domains, and its expression in various tissues suggests a role in both differentiation and maintenance of multiple cell types.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 6666; HGNC ID: HGNC:11198; UniProt: O15370; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_006943.4; Chromosome location: 20p13
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
