SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human SOCS1 (suppressor of cytokine signaling 1, also called JAB) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human SOCS1 qPCR Primer Set – suppressor of cytokine signaling 1
Also known as: AISIMD, CIS1, CISH1, JAB, SOCS-1, SSI-1, SSI1, TIP-3, TIP3
About this gene: SOCS1 belongs to the STAT-induced STAT inhibitor, also known as suppressor of cytokine signaling, family. SSI family members are cytokine-inducible negative regulators of cytokine signaling. The expression of SOCS1 can be induced by a subset of cytokines, including IL2, IL3 erythropoietin, CSF2/GM-CSF, and interferon-gamma.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 8651; HGNC ID: HGNC:19383; UniProt: O15524; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_003745.2; Chromosome location: 16p13.13
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
