SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human SOAT1 (sterol O-acyltransferase 1) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human SOAT1 qPCR Primer Set – sterol O-acyltransferase 1
Also known as: ACACT, ACAT, ACAT-1, ACAT1, SOAT, STAT
About this gene: The SOAT1 protein belongs to the acyltransferase family. SOAT1 has been implicated in the formation of beta-amyloid and atherosclerotic plaques by controlling the equilibrium between free cholesterol and cytoplasmic cholesteryl esters.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 6646; HGNC ID: HGNC:11177; UniProt: P35610; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_003101.6; Chromosome location: 1q25.2
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
