About this gene: Islet antigen-2 is an autoantigen in type 1 diabetes and is involved in insulin secretion. IA-2 is found in dense-core secretory vesicles and interacts with the product of SNX19, a sorting nexin. In mouse pancreatic beta-cells, the SNX19 protein influenced insulin secretion by stabilizing the number of dense-core secretory vesicles.

What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
