SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human SNCA (synuclein alpha, also called NACP) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human SNCA qPCR Primer Set – synuclein alpha
Also known as: NACP, PARK1, PARK4, PD1
About this gene: Alpha-synuclein belongs to the synuclein family, which also includes beta- and gamma-synuclein. Synucleins are abundantly expressed in the brain and alpha- and beta-synuclein inhibit phospholipase D2 selectively. SNCA may serve to integrate presynaptic signaling and membrane trafficking.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 6622; HGNC ID: HGNC:11138; UniProt: P37840; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_000345.4; Chromosome location: 4q22.1
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
