Human SNAP25 qPCR Primer Set – synaptosome associated protein 25

Also known as: CMS18, DEE117, RIC-4, RIC4, SEC9, SNAP, SNAP-25, SUP, bA416N4.2, dJ1068F16.2

About this gene: Synaptic vesicle membrane docking and fusion is mediated by SNAREs (soluble N-ethylmaleimide-sensitive factor attachment protein receptors) located on the vesicle membrane and the target membrane. The assembled v-SNARE/t-SNARE complex consists of a bundle of four helices, one of which is supplied by v-SNARE and the other three by t-SNARE. For t-SNAREs on the plasma membrane. Therefore, SNAP25 product is a presynaptic plasma membrane protein involved in the regulation of neurotransmitter release.

Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 6616; HGNC ID: HGNC:11132; UniProt: P60880; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_130811.4; Chromosome location: 20p12.2

What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
