Human SNAP23 qPCR Primer Set – synaptosome associated protein 23
Also known as: HsT17016, SNAP-23, SNAP23A, SNAP23B
About this gene: Specificity of vesicular transport is regulated, in part, by the interaction of a vesicle-associated membrane protein termed synaptobrevin/VAMP with a target compartment membrane protein termed syntaxin. These proteins, together with SNAP25, form a complex which serves as a binding site for the general membrane fusion machinery. Synaptobrevin/VAMP and syntaxin are believed to be involved in vesicular transport in most, if not all cells, while SNAP25 is present almost exclusively in the brain.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 8773; HGNC ID: HGNC:11131; UniProt: O00161; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_003825.4; Chromosome location: 15q15.1-q15.2
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
