Human SIGLEC1 qPCR Primer Set – sialic acid binding Ig like lectin 1
Also known as: CD169, SIGLEC-1, SN
About this gene: SIGLEC1 belongs to the immunoglobulin superfamily. The SIGLEC1 protein is a lectin-like adhesion molecule that binds glycoconjugate ligands on cell surfaces in a sialic acid-dependent manner. The SIGLEC1 gene product is a type I transmembrane protein expressed only by a subpopulation of macrophages and is involved in mediating cell-cell interactions.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 6614; HGNC ID: HGNC:11127; UniProt: Q9BZZ2; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_023068.4; Chromosome location: 20p13
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
