SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human SMYD5 (SMYD family member 5) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human SMYD5 qPCR Primer Set – SMYD family member 5
Also known as: NN8-4AG, RAI15, RRG1, ZMYND23
About this gene: SMYD5 enables protein-lysine N-methyltransferase activity. It is involved in positive regulation of cytoplasmic translational elongation; regulation of stem cell differentiation; and transposable element silencing by heterochromatin formation. Is active in cytoplasm.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 10322; HGNC ID: HGNC:16258; UniProt: Q6GMV2; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_006062.3; Chromosome location: 2p13.2
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
