SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human SMTN (smoothelin) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human SMTN qPCR Primer Set – smoothelin
About this gene: SMTN encodes a structural protein that is found exclusively in contractile smooth muscle cells. SMTN is localized to chromosome 22q12.3, distal to the TUPLE1 locus and outside the DiGeorge syndrome deletion.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 6525; HGNC ID: HGNC:11126; UniProt: P53814; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_134269.3; Chromosome location: 22q12.2
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
