SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human SMS (spermine synthase, also called SPMSY) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human SMS qPCR Primer Set – spermine synthase
Also known as: MRSR, MRXSSR, SPMSY, SRS, SpS
About this gene: SMS encodes a protein belonging to the spermidine/spermin synthase family and catalyzes the production of spermine from spermidine.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 6611; HGNC ID: HGNC:11123; UniProt: P52788; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_004595.5; Chromosome location: Xp22.11
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
