About this gene: BOLL belongs to the DAZ gene family required for germ cell development. The BOLL gene product encodes an RNA-binding protein which is more similar to Drosophila Boule than to human proteins encoded by genes DAZ or DAZL. Loss of BOLL function leads to the absence of sperm in semen. Histological studies demonstrated that the primary defect is at the meiotic G2/M transition.

What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
