SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human SMC1A (structural maintenance of chromosomes 1A, also called Sb1.8) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human SMC1A qPCR Primer Set – structural maintenance of chromosomes 1A
Also known as: CDLS2, DEE85, DXS423E, EIEE85, SB1.8, SMC1, SMC1L1, SMC1alpha, SMCB
About this gene: Proper cohesion of sister chromatids is a prerequisite for the correct segregation of chromosomes during cell division. The cohesin multiprotein complex is required for sister chromatid cohesion. This complex is composed partly of two structural maintenance of chromosomes proteins, SMC3 and either SMC1B or the protein encoded by SMC1A.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 8243; HGNC ID: HGNC:11111; UniProt: Q14683; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_006306.4; Chromosome location: Xp11.22
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
