Human SLN qPCR Primer Set – sarcolipin
About this gene: Sarcoplasmic reticulum Ca-ATPases are transmembrane proteins that catalyze the ATP-dependent transport of Ca from the cytosol into the lumen of the sarcoplasmic reticulum in muscle cells. SLN encodes a small proteolipid that regulates multiple sarcoplasmic reticulum Ca-ATPases. The transmembrane protein interacts with Ca-ATPases and reduces the accumulation of Ca in the sarcoplasmic reticulum without affecting the rate of ATP hydrolysis.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 6588; HGNC ID: HGNC:11089; UniProt: O00631; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_003063.3; Chromosome location: 11q22.3
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
