SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human SLCO1B1 (solute carrier organic anion transporter family member 1B1, also called OATP-C) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human SLCO1B1 qPCR Primer Set – solute carrier organic anion transporter family member 1B1
Also known as: HBLRR, LST-1, OATP-C, OATP1B1, OATP2, OATPC, SLC21A6
About this gene: SLCO1B1 encodes a liver-specific member of the organic anion transporter family. The SLCO1B1 protein is a transmembrane receptor that mediates the sodium-independent uptake of numerous endogenous compounds including bilirubin, 17-beta-glucuronosyl estradiol and leukotriene C4. The SLCO1B1 protein is also involved in the removal of drug compounds such as statins, bromosulfophthalein and rifampin from the blood into the hepatocytes.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 10599; HGNC ID: HGNC:10959; UniProt: Q9Y6L6; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_006446.5; Chromosome location: 12p12.1
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
