SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human SLC6A2 (solute carrier family 6 member 2, also called NET) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human SLC6A2 qPCR Primer Set – solute carrier family 6 member 2
Also known as: NAT1, NET, NET1, SLC6A5
About this gene: SLC6A2 belongs to the sodium:neurotransmitter symporter family. This member is a multi-pass membrane protein, which is responsible for reuptake of norepinephrine into presynaptic nerve terminals and is a regulator of norepinephrine homeostasis. Mutations in SLC6A2 cause orthostatic intolerance, a syndrome characterized by lightheadedness, fatigue, altered mentation and syncope.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 6530; HGNC ID: HGNC:11048; UniProt: P23975; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_001172501.3; Chromosome location: 16q12.2
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
