About this gene: SLC37A4 regulates glucose-6-phosphate transport from the cytoplasm to the lumen of the endoplasmic reticulum, in order to maintain glucose homeostasis. The SLC37A4 gene product also is involved in ATP-mediated calcium sequestration in the lumen of the endoplasmic reticulum. Mutations in SLC37A4 have been linked to various forms of glycogen storage disease.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 2542; HGNC ID: HGNC:4061; UniProt: O43826; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_001164277.2; Chromosome location: 11q23.3
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
