About this gene: The SLC27A5 protein is an isozyme of very long-chain acyl-CoA synthetase. The SLC27A5 gene product is capable of activating very long-chain fatty-acids containing 24- and 26-carbons. Its primary role is in fatty acid elongation or complex lipid synthesis rather than in degradation.

What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
