About this gene: SLC27A4 belongs to a family of fatty acid transport proteins, which are involved in translocation of long-chain fatty acids cross the plasma membrane. The SLC27A4 protein is expressed at high levels on the apical side of mature enterocytes in the small intestine, and appears to be the principal fatty acid transporter in enterocytes. Clinical studies suggest SLC27A4 as a candidate gene for the insulin resistance syndrome.

What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
