About this gene: The SLC26A3 protein is a transmembrane glycoprotein that transports chloride ions across the cell membrane in exchange for bicarbonate ions. The SLC26A3 gene product is localized to the mucosa of the lower intestinal tract, particularly to the apical membrane of columnar epithelium and some goblet cells. The protein is essential for intestinal chloride absorption, and mutations in SLC26A3 have been linked to congenital chloride diarrhea.

What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
