About this gene: SLC25A19 encodes a mitochondrial protein that belongs to the solute carrier family. Although this protein was initially thought to be the mitochondrial deoxynucleotide carrier involved in the uptake of deoxynucleotides into the matrix of the mitochondria. Mutations in SLC25A19 cause microcephaly, Amish type, a metabolic disease that leads to severe congenital microcephaly, severe 2-ketoglutaric aciduria, and death within the first year.

What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
