About this gene: SLC25A12 encodes a calcium-binding mitochondrial carrier protein. The SLC25A12 protein localizes to the mitochondria and is involved in the exchange of aspartate for glutamate across the inner mitochondrial membrane. Polymorphisms in SLC25A12 may be linked to autism, and mutations in SLC25A12 may also be a cause of global cerebral hypomyelination.

What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
