SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human SKIL (SKI like proto-oncogene) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human SKIL qPCR Primer Set – SKI like proto-oncogene
Also known as: SNO, SnoA, SnoI, SnoN
About this gene: The SKIL protein is a component of the SMAD pathway, which regulates cell growth and differentiation through transforming growth factor-beta. In the absence of ligand, the SKIL protein binds to the promoter region of TGFB-responsive genes and recruits a nuclear repressor complex. TGFB signaling causes SMAD3 to enter the nucleus and degrade this protein, allowing these genes to be activated.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 6498; HGNC ID: HGNC:10897; UniProt: P12757; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_005414.5; Chromosome location: 3q26.2
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
