About this gene: PRMT5 encodes a enzyme that belongs to the methyltransferase family. The PRMT5 protein catalyzes the transfer of methyl groups to the amino acid arginine, in target proteins that include histones, transcriptional elongation factors and the tumor suppressor p53. PRMT5 is involved in multiple cellular processes, including transcriptional regulation, and the assembly of small nuclear ribonucleoproteins.

What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
