SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human SIM2 (SIM bHLH transcription factor 2, also called bHLHe15) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human SIM2 qPCR Primer Set – SIM bHLH transcription factor 2
Also known as: HMC13F06, HMC29C01, SIM, bHLHe15
About this gene: SIM2 represents a homolog of the Drosophila single-minded gene, which encodes a transcription factor that is a master regulator of neurogenesis. The SIM2 protein is ubiquitinated by RING-IBR-RING-type E3 ubiquitin ligases, including the parkin RBR E3 ubiquitin protein ligase. SIM2 maps within the so-called Down syndrome chromosomal region, and is thus thought to contribute to some specific Down syndrome phenotypes.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 6493; HGNC ID: HGNC:10883; UniProt: Q14190; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_005069.6; Chromosome location: 21q22.13
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
