SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human SIL1 (SIL1 nucleotide exchange factor, also called BAP) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human SIL1 qPCR Primer Set – SIL1 nucleotide exchange factor
Also known as: BAP, MSS, ULG5
About this gene: SIL1 encodes a resident endoplasmic reticulum, N-linked glycoprotein with an N-terminal ER targeting sequence, 2 putative N-glycosylation sites, and a C-terminal ER retention signal. The SIL1 protein acts as a nucleotide exchange factor for another unfolded protein response protein. Mutations in SIL1 have been linked to Marinesco-Sjogren syndrome.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 64374; HGNC ID: HGNC:24624; UniProt: Q9H173; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_022464.5; Chromosome location: 5q31.2
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
