Human SIGLEC8 qPCR Primer Set – sialic acid binding Ig like lectin 8
Also known as: SAF2, SIGLEC-8, SIGLEC8L
About this gene: Sialic acid-binding immunoglobulin-like lectins, or SIGLECs (e.g., CD33), are a family of type 1 transmembrane proteins each having a unique expression pattern, mostly in hemopoietic cells. SIGLEC8 belongs to the CD33-like subgroup of SIGLECs, which are localized to 19q13.3-q13.4 and have 2 conserved cytoplasmic tyrosine-based motifs: an immunoreceptor tyrosine-based inhibitory motif, or ITIM.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 27181; HGNC ID: HGNC:10877; UniProt: Q9NYZ4; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_014442.3; Chromosome location: 19q13.41
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
