About this gene: SHOX belongs to the paired homeobox family and is located in the pseudoautosomal region 1 of X and Y chromosomes. Defects in SHOX are linked to idiopathic growth retardation and in the short stature phenotype of Turner syndrome patients. SHOX is highly conserved across species from mammals to fish to flies.

What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
