SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human SHANK1 (SH3 and multiple ankyrin repeat domains 1, also called SSTRIP) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human SHANK1 qPCR Primer Set – SH3 and multiple ankyrin repeat domains 1
Also known as: SPANK-1, SSTRIP, synamon
About this gene: SHANK1 belongs to the SHANK family of proteins. Members of this family act as scaffold proteins that are required for the development and function of neuronal synapses. Deletions in SHANK1 may be linked to autism spectrum disorder in males.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 50944; HGNC ID: HGNC:15474; UniProt: Q9Y566; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_016148.5; Chromosome location: 19q13.33
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
