About this gene: SH2D1A encodes a protein that plays a major role in the bidirectional stimulation of T and B cells. The SH2D1A protein contains an SH2 domain and a short tail. The SH2D1A gene product associates with the signaling lymphocyte-activation molecule, thereby acting as an inhibitor of this transmembrane protein by blocking the recruitment of the SH2-domain-containing signal-transduction molecule SHP-2 to its docking site.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 4068; HGNC ID: HGNC:10820; UniProt: O60880; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_002351.5; Chromosome location: Xq25
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
