SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human SGTA (small glutamine rich tetratricopeptide repeat co-chaperone alpha, also called UBP) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human SGTA qPCR Primer Set – small glutamine rich tetratricopeptide repeat co-chaperone alpha
Also known as: SGT, SGT1, Vpu, alphaSGT, hSGT
About this gene: SGTA encodes a protein which is capable of interacting with the major nonstructural protein of parvovirus H-1 and 70-kDa heat shock cognate protein; however, its function is not known. Since this transcript is expressed ubiquitously in various tissues, this protein may serve a housekeeping function.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 6449; HGNC ID: HGNC:10819; UniProt: O43765; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_003021.4; Chromosome location: 19p13.3
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
