SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human SGSH (N-sulfoglucosamine sulfohydrolase, also called Sulphamidase) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human SGSH qPCR Primer Set – N-sulfoglucosamine sulfohydrolase
Also known as: HSS, MPS3A, SFMD
About this gene: SGSH encodes a enzyme sulfamidase; one of multiple enzymes involved in the lysosomal degradation of heparan sulfate. Mutations in SGSH are linked to the lysosomal storage disease mucopolysaccaridosis IIIA, also known as Sanfilippo syndrome A, which results from impaired degradation of heparan sulfate. Transcripts of varying sizes have been reported but their biological validity has not been determined.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 6448; HGNC ID: HGNC:10818; UniProt: P51688; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_000199.5; Chromosome location: 17q25.3
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
