SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human SGCG (sarcoglycan gamma, also called Gamma-SG) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human SGCG qPCR Primer Set – sarcoglycan gamma
Also known as: 35DAG, A4, DAGA4, DMDA, DMDA1, LGMD2C, LGMDR5, MAM, SCARMD2, gamma-SG
About this gene: SGCG encodes gamma-sarcoglycan, one of multiple sarcolemmal transmembrane glycoproteins that interact with dystrophin. The dystrophin-glycoprotein complex spans the sarcolemma and is comprised of dystrophin, syntrophin, alpha- and beta-dystroglycans and sarcoglycans. The DGC provides a structural link between the subsarcolemmal cytoskeleton and the extracellular matrix of muscle cells.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 6445; HGNC ID: HGNC:10809; UniProt: Q13326; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_000231.3; Chromosome location: 13q12.12
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
