SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human SFTPA2 (surfactant protein A2, also called PSPA) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human SFTPA2 qPCR Primer Set – surfactant protein A2
Also known as: COLEC5, ILD2, PSAP, PSP-A, PSPA, SFTP1, SFTPA2B, SP-2A, SP-A, SPA2, SPAII
About this gene: SFTPA2 is one of multiple genes encoding pulmonary-surfactant associated proteins located on chromosome 10. Mutations in SFTPA2 and a highly similar gene located nearby, which affect the highly conserved carbohydrate recognition domain, are linked to idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis. The current version of the assembly displays only a single centromeric SFTPA gene pair rather than the two gene pairs shown in the previous assembly which were thought to have resulted from a duplication.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 729238; HGNC ID: HGNC:10799; UniProt: Q8IWL1; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_001098668.4; Chromosome location: 10q22.3
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
