SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human XIAP (X-linked inhibitor of apoptosis, also called hIAP3) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human XIAP qPCR Primer Set – X-linked inhibitor of apoptosis
Also known as: API3, BIRC4, IAP-3, ILP1, MIHA, XLP2, hIAP-3, hIAP3
About this gene: XIAP encodes a protein that belongs to a family of apoptotic suppressor proteins. Members of this family share a conserved motif termed, baculovirus IAP repeat, which is necessary for their anti-apoptotic function. The XIAP protein functions through binding to tumor necrosis factor receptor-associated factors TRAF1 and TRAF2 and inhibits apoptosis induced by menadione, a potent inducer of free radicals, and interleukin 1-beta converting enzyme.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 331; HGNC ID: HGNC:592; UniProt: P98170; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_001167.4; Chromosome location: Xq25
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
