SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human SESN1 (sestrin 1) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human SESN1 qPCR Primer Set – sestrin 1
Also known as: PA26, SEST1
About this gene: SESN1 belongs to the sestrin family. Sestrins are induced by the p53 tumor suppressor protein and play a role in the cellular response to DNA damage and oxidative stress. The SESN1 protein mediates p53 inhibition of cell growth by activating AMP-activated protein kinase, which leads to the inhibition of the mammalian target of rapamycin protein.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 27244; HGNC ID: HGNC:21595; UniProt: Q9Y6P5; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_014454.3; Chromosome location: 6q21
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
