About this gene: SERPING1 encodes a highly glycosylated plasma protein involved in the regulation of the complement cascade. Its encoded protein, C1 inhibitor, inhibits activated C1r and C1s of the first complement component and thus regulates complement activation. The SERPING1 gene product is synthesized in the liver, and its deficiency is linked to hereditary angioneurotic oedema.

What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
