About this gene: There are three proteins including thyroxine-binding globulin, transthyretin and albumin responsible for carrying the thyroid hormones thyroxine and 3,5,3'-triiodothyronine in the bloodstream. SERPINA7 encodes a major thyroid hormone transport protein, TBG, in serum. The SERPINA7 gene product belongs to the serpin family in genomics, but the protein has no inhibitory function like many other members of the serpin family.

What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
