SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human SERAC1 (serine active site containing 1) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human SERAC1 qPCR Primer Set – serine active site containing 1
About this gene: The SERAC1 protein is a phosphatidylglycerol remodeling protein found at the interface of mitochondria and endoplasmic reticula, where it mediates phospholipid exchange. The SERAC1 protein plays a major role in mitochondrial function and intracellular cholesterol trafficking. Defects in SERAC1 are a cause of 3-methylglutaconic aciduria with deafness, encephalopathy, and Leigh-like syndrome.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 84947; HGNC ID: HGNC:21061; UniProt: Q96JX3; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_032861.4; Chromosome location: 6q25.3
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
