SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human SEPHS1 (selenophosphate synthetase 1) gene expression by real-time PCR.
Human SEPHS1 qPCR Primer Set – selenophosphate synthetase 1
Also known as: SELD, SPS, SPS1, VERBRAS2
About this gene: SEPHS1 encodes a enzyme that synthesizes selenophosphate from selenide and ATP. Selenophosphate is the selenium donor used to synthesize selenocysteine, which is co-translationally incorporated into selenoproteins at in-frame UGA codons.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 22929; HGNC ID: HGNC:19685; UniProt: P49903; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_012247.5; Chromosome location: 10p13
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
