Human SEC63 qPCR Primer Set – SEC63 protein translocation regulator
Also known as: DNAJC23, ERdj2, PCLD2, PRO2507, SEC63L
About this gene: The Sec61 complex is the central component of the protein translocation apparatus of the endoplasmic reticulum membrane. The SEC63 protein and SEC62 protein are found to be linked to ribosome-free SEC61 complex. The SEC63 gene product is speculated that Sec61-Sec62-Sec63 may perform post-translational protein translocation into the ER. The Sec61-Sec62-Sec63 complex might also perform the backward transport of ER proteins that are subject to the ubiquitin-proteasome-dependent degradation pathway.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 11231; HGNC ID: HGNC:21082; UniProt: Q9UGP8; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_007214.5; Chromosome location: 6q21
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
