Product Description

SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human SDS (serine dehydratase, also called SDH) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.

Human SDS qPCR Primer Set – serine dehydratase

Also known as: SDH, hSDH

About this gene: SDS encodes one of three enzymes that are involved in metabolizing serine and glycine. L-serine dehydratase converts L-serine to pyruvate and ammonia and requires pyridoxal phosphate as a cofactor. The SDS protein can also metabolize threonine to NH4+ and 2-ketobutyrate.

Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 10993; HGNC ID: HGNC:10691; UniProt: P20132; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_006843.3; Chromosome location: 12q24.13

What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
