Human SDHB qPCR Primer Set – succinate dehydrogenase complex iron sulfur subunit B

Also known as: CWS2, IP, MC2DN4, PGL4, PPGL4, SDH, SDH1, SDH2, SDHIP

About this gene: This tumor suppressor gene encodes the iron-sulfur protein subunit of the succinate dehydrogenase enzyme complex which plays a critical role in mitochondria. The SDH enzyme complex is composed of four nuclear-encoded subunits. The SDH enzyme complex is involved in oxygen-related gene regulation through its conversion of succinate, which is an oxygen sensor that stabilizes the hypoxia-inducible factor 1 transcription factor.

Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 6390; HGNC ID: HGNC:10681; UniProt: P21912; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_003000.3; Chromosome location: 1p36.13

What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
